"We enjoyed our stay in this hotel! The room was clean and had a lot of space, the beds were comfortable. They have a gym and spa there too. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were great too. I liked their concept about cleaning. If you don't want your room to be cleaned one of the days, you can save 3 euro each time and spend that money in the hotel. I would totally recommend this hotel!"

"Been here as family of three for 10 days. We had a very good time. The hotel is located in a small town directly at the coast. The view from nearly all rooms is amazing. Everything’s clean and at a modern standard. The animation is on spot, not intrusive, but varied and lovingly designed, especially when you are with kids. The service staff is amazing. Everyone wants to make you feel comfortable and have a good time. Really, the whole staff is so good and friendly, I’d love to have them in hotels and restaurants in Germany."

"What a wonderful hotel, perched on a massive rock with a stunning view of the ocean, city and mountains. Plenty of lifts available. Very tastefully decorated hotel. Location and view are the plus points of this hotel. Service all round was 5 star."

"Wow! I knew I'd see some views but wasn't quite prepared for how stunning this hotel is. From the outdoor pool to our room, we were surrounded by a beautiful, elevated sea view. Great cocktails too! Amazing breakfast! Well-equipped gym! We had a perfect stay."

"A great vacation. Great room with a fantastic view over the Atlantic ocean.A really nice pool area that isn't too crowded. Breakfast is great and dinner buffé is mostly quite good. Bus stop outside if you want to go to Funchal or use the hotel shuttle. Staff is very friendly. All in all a great hotel to stay in."

"A brilliant hotel with the most incredible views. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are nice and well thought out. Sufficienr plug sockets around the room, a long mirror which is always helpful when getting ready. The shower was excellent, very good water pressure and temperature. I also really liked the shower gel and body cream provided, smells amazing. My fiance and I stayed in a studio room and we found it plenty spacious. Good breakfast selection (but note it is the same items offered every morning). The location is ideal, walking distande from the main Funchal town centre (15mins). I highly recommend this hotel."
